New screens for Metal Gear Rising Revengeance have been released. Previously we saw Raiden driving a car, but it looks like that’s not the only vehicle he’ll be using in the game.
Kojima posted some photos on his Twitter of the line of Metal Gear Rising themed hoodies and t-shirts arriving in UNIQLO stores in Japan starting February 18th.

Hideo Kojima shared a picture of a Metal Gear Rising poster that Kojima Productions received to color check. Two of the characters are hidden by a conveniently placed iPhone. Here’s the poster (click to enlarge):
It’s very likely one of those characters is Sunny from Metal Gear Solid 4, who has already been confirmed to make an appearance in the game, but hasn’t been unveiled yet. Only this silhouette has been shown so far:
Metal Gear Rising Revengeance releases in less than a month worldwide.
Hideo Kojima received a special present from Square Enix (who makes the Play Arts KAI Metal Gear figures): a one of kind ‘Hideo Raiden’ action figure. According to Kojima, this is the only one that exists in the world.
Since you can remove the head, you can also attach it to other bodies.
Kojima placed the figure in his Metal Gear Solid 4 display cabinet.
European Metal Gear fans thinking of purchasing Metal Gear Rising Revengeance Limited Edition are probably aware that this edition is exclusive to UK retailer Zavvi.com. But is it really exclusive to this store?

Konami has released a European commercial for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, in which Raiden explains why he isn’t someone you should mess with in his new game. Check out the video below.
According to gaming magazine Dengeki PlayStation, Konami has plans to release VR missions and substories for other characters in the form of downloadable content for Metal Gear Rising Revengeance.
When Konami plans to release the updates, and for what price, remains to be seen.
A soundtrack CD for Metal Gear Rising Revengeance will be released alongside the game. The first print of the CD will come in a special metal case with a holograph and gleaming logo.
The soundtrack CD can be ordered at KonamiStyle, and will release the same day as the game, February 21st. It will also be available at some stores in the US, though it seems likely this offer will be for the Japanese KonamiStyle only.

In the first video the Cyborgs of the game get a chance to shin (or rather be cut to pieces). Shown in the trailer are cyborg soldiers, cyborg cops, heavy cyborgs and custom cyborgs.

This next trailer showcases Raiden’s Inferno Armor, which increases the amount of throwing weapons (such as grenades) Raiden can carry.
